The price was excellent, the delivery fast, and the company has the innovative option of shipping the product with the minimal packaging to save you money. However, I would advise some caution. I could have ended up with completely the wrong product. When I ordered this Portuguese audio dictionary, I specifically stipulated that I am ordering this product on the proviso that it provides BRAZILIAN Portuguese pronunciation for all the worlds, as implied by the review here: [link]. Please do not fulfill the order if it is only Continental Portuguese. No site anywhere said what sort of Porto it was, except for the single review of the product on a well-known book site, in which the happy customer said it was Brazilian Porto, with a Rio (Carioca) accent. When I received it, eLearnAid said in the sales receipt: we can only assume from the review that it is Brazilian Portuguese. There is no indication on the product as to what type of Portuguese is spoken. In other words, they essentially ignored my instructions and shipped the product regardless. And if it did turn out to be Continental Porto (for example if there were two editions), my money would be completely wasted. However I suspect they never even looked at the product. Why? Because right on the front of the cd case it has an English flag and the distinctive BRAZILIAN flag! Not only that, the case is easy to open, and a 5-minute installation of the product reveals that quite a few entries indicate Continental pronunciation and spelling as EXCEPTIONS. I also feel they could have gained certainty about this fairly quickly through other means they have privileged access to, such as direct contact with the wholesaler. Just a few minutes of research would clarify it for every future customer. Looks like Ive done it for them! (My Brazilian friend confirmed that it WAS this most commonly spoken kind of Portuguese). The product itself is awesome. It all turned out well in the end and the other aspects were great, so 4 stars. But theres no getting past the fact that the company WAS willing to take my money to send me a product I may have been unhappy with. So if you deal with them, dont expect more than the most cursory customer service on the product itself.]

This, despite the proximity (regular US mail would take a day or two) between my shipping address and eLearn Aid. 2) The items were recieved in a jewel case which was crushed in the center, rendering the CDs loose in the case. With regard to the shipping issue: the delay was explained by the fact that the free shipping option is something called media mail - a fact that was not adequately explained when opting for free shipping. This feature alone is not competitive with other e-business vendors who offer free shipping for their customers who make large purchases. My suggestion to eLearn Aid would be to offer different classes of free shipping: for purchases above $100 or $200, offer free regular shipping. For purchases over $50, offer the current, extremely slow, method of shipping.

My only grumble is that tthey apparantly refuse to deliver to a Post Box address. This method is commonly used in South Africa for small parcels. The recipient has to collect a parcel from a Post Office anyway as it goes through Customs clearance there at that point of delivery.
